Empowering Science Education using Mixed Reality and AI

General introduction

This project developed a VR-assisted desktop learning game to teach tornado formation. It integrated a generative artificial intelligence (AI) “interviewer” to conduct post-game interviews with participants about their learning experience. The project examines how emerging technologies, such as extended reality (XR) and AI, can support science learning and foster learners’ deeper reflection on complex concepts.
